    • They are! Have a lot of common sense, what is lacking in horses and horse riders… I had a jumbo jenny named Molly Sue. Was very affectionate and loved her apples. She was a racking mule, what Tennessee Walking Horse do, the type of gait. Like riding in a Cadillac.

  1. my grandfather thought so, he had a few of them to work on his farm.
sometimes they worked better than any tractor for some jobs.
he had a pair he used for skidding logs every winter. cash money from the store
or food stuff they couldn’t make themselves.
cutting rail ties with a cross cut saw sounds like a whole lot of work to me.
but it was something they did every winter for cash money back then.
how much you want to bet the doors above are solid at the bottom with the vents on the top side ? seen that type before in the south. that keeps air flowing thru the barn in the summer. also keeps the flies down with the breeze.

  2. Had one for the last 20 years. On number 3. Red john mule. Laziest one I’ve owned. Had 2 Molly’s before. Anyone of them will go anywhere you have the stones point them. Damn good company. Spend a lot of hours riding back country, see things not many folks see

  3. I watched many a day, when gran-paw did everything in the field with his(Paired) white mules. Had two nice J. DEERES justa sitting. One bicycle and one normal. Uncle used them all the time. beautiful, big, GENTLE & DAMN smart. LONG, LONG ago in another world!

  4. I like mules and wish I had two pair. Funny as far back as 10-12 years ago I was joking about buying a plow and a mule. I thought I was just kidding guessing what might be coming wish I was wrong.
