Peter Pitchlynn, (Choctaw: Hatchootucknee, lit. ’Snapping Turtle’) (January 30, 1806 – January 17, 1881) was a Choctaw military and political leader.
Bear Claw’s great great grandfather. Bear is descended from a proud and educated people.
