  1. Lol! The flat earth stuff is hilarious! Tell me you don’t know anything about math without actually saying it.

  2. My thinking is this: From what I understand about Keplers Laws of Planetary Motion and the laws of Newtonian Physics the earth is clearly round. However, if the earth is in fact flat, whoever set it up did it in such a way as to make us derive laws of motion and physics that would lead us to believe the earth is round. I am afraid of anyone or anything capable of setting up such a simulation and am going to go along with the intended conclusion that the earth is round just in case it’s actually flat. (Sometimes people can’t tell when I’m being sarcastic)

    • Solid reasoning. There are simple tests, too. Draw a straight line on a flat map and fly a plane along that path. You’ll never reach your destination. You have to use the calculus of variations to create flight paths due to the curvature of the earth! I like the sarcasm, but that is a pretty wild thought of someone designing it to trick us! That would be a wild scifi story!

      • Designing math to trick us isn’t necessary, that’s already been done with dinosaur bones.

More people understand the bones than the math anyway.

  3. But knowing the earth is round and not flat does NOT negate one seriously questioning the truth of man supposedly landing on the moon. Sad that so many conflate these two things when they are worlds apart (pun intentional).

  4. Are you going to follow up this post with one of the memes saying that Earth is a water planet – a non-carbonated water planet. Hence, it IS flat.
