Worked as a 911 dispatcher. Occasionally we would get a call with someone threatening to end it all. Most times we would be able to talk them down and get them some help. The one call that got my attention was a guy that calmly stated his intentions, the reasons why, and exactly how he was going to do it. He only wanted to make sure his kids were not the ones to find him. He then hung up. Help arrived too late.
