Every Okie I know drinks beer and/or whiskey. It’s pretty obvious whoever dreamed that meme up doesn’t know the average Okie.
Y’all are forgetting Boones Farm, Mad Dog 20/20 and the ever-popular Thunderbird.
I had one Boones Farm Strawberry Hill hangover in my misspent youth. That was more than enough for me. It didn’t even taste that good.
Bourbon not on the list, besides our doom porn bomb cyclone weather people are more wrong than most. By yesterday a large portion of our 9 inches of snow was melted off. If only the one weather gal would buy a set like the 6 o’clock anchor.
I miss having a bourbon now and again.
Also how many bottle of Ibuprofen – Acetomenaphan to stock. Moving all the snow when you are older will remind you you aren’t as young as you used to be. And too hard to convince the young to help out unless electricity is out and they can’t charge their cell phones.
We have that problem in Hampton Roads VA. My friend reports that the shelves in the store are bare over there.
We live in the north east part of OK. In weather like this the wife and I do a lot of humpy bumpys to stay warm. After a day and half of the snow I ended up with 13 inches of that crap. I’m ready to see the last of snow for a long time.
Right now wind gust to 30 mph, 17 degree weather that feels like -2. Wind possible to 15 below. Real Sucky.
