I was always more drawn to Jan.
Yes, not to take anything away from Loni – may she rest in peace – but I’ll concur with the preference for Jan Smithers. It may be a cliche at this point (as with the Ginger versus Maryanne debate), but I never really went in for the blonde bombshell type.
Also, sonofabitch but it seems like almost everyday now another memorable piece of my child and young adulthood is kicking off this mortal coil. Musicians especially. I guess that’s what informs one they are officially “old”, when those they grew up watching and listening to start checking out at an alarming rate. Lately, the point has been driven home with extra emphasis.
Man, she sure ripped thru most of Burt’s money, though. She was one money hungry hound dog!
