Wow, just wow. Explained better, more clearly and succinctly than I have ever heard.
Immigrants, who have actually “seen the elephant”, understand more clearly our Constitution and why The Founding Fathers crafted it the way they did!
So correct! I hope this gentleman runs for Congress.
He has my vote!
The other point the speaker did not touch on was the fact that all the other 9 amendments in the Bill of Rights are distinctly listed as personal right belonging to the people at large, and limits on the actions of government, not permissions for the government.
Other than that minor point, very well spoken.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. – C. S. Lewis
Well said. Good on ya, lad.
I suggest substituting “well trained” for “well regulated–
I would also remind that our in-alienable rights come from God, which is affirmed in the 2nd amendment reference to “…the right of the people…”. The 2nd amendment grants nothing. It says “shall not” to the government. The government has no authority over rights granted by God.
The left denies the existence of God, hence their claim that all rights are derived from government. Therefore, their right to define and deny you those rights as they see fit.
All a person would need to do to understand the mindset of our Founding Fathers, would be to delve into their writings. It becomes very clear what their intentions were.

Ya gotta study the writings of Jefferson, et al, to gain a clear understanding of our Founding Fathers’ motives and intentions.
Otherwise you are Ignorant – or worse, stupid.
Truth. Plain and simple.
I spread the link to some folks who will spread it around to some other folks who have YUGE numbers of followers. Thanks for sharing it with us.
good words. Accurate.
Smart kid, that. Another thing you rarely see mentioned anywhere is the simple grammatical fact that in NO other case does a dependent clause–ie, the first part about well-regulated militias–override the main clause. But hey, liberals will say anything at all to get the absolute, unchecked power they so desperately lust for.
Great. Now. He. Has. To.
Go.
Back.
Leave.
Not. Happening.
Thank God.
Problem is, it is not a liberal belief. It’s purely a control mechanism but they want you and I arguing the belief.
I have known a few people that have come here and became citizens.
one thing they all did after getting the paperwork saying they where was to get armed. they much more than most of us know what that really means.
to have the chance for self defense. something we take for granted.
and the way things are going here these days, we about to find out.
so, get something you trust. and get lots of ammo for it and a few spare parts
you may want or need.
I’m not even an American and I liked that.
This is why immigration reform is so important right now. By that I mean vetting them and enforcement of the laws on the books. He if a TRUE AMERICAN!!!
