I was going to get a carb rebuild kit once, until I looked at the contents of the box. Uh-uh. Decided to spring for one already rebuilt. There’s no way I was going to get that thing back together and run right. I’m pretty skilled mechanically, but as Clint Eastwood has said in more than one movie: “A man’s got to know his limitations!” (Usually said after the bad guy has self-destructed in some spectacularly stupid way).
No guts, no Air Medals, Greg. Carb rebuilds are fairly straightforward. Automatic transmissions, on the other hand…
Aren’t Air Medals akin to Brownie’s little cloth stars for making cupcakes, doing a good deed, applying make up correctly?
