Labor Day, a day set aside by communists to celebrate the common working man. An open tread to celebrate a thinking man, to share what thoughts and postulates that swirl around and requires escape.

45 yrs as a machinist. 3 yrs trade school in the 70s.
Have and can do it all.
But I aint happy what has become of this nation.

No, just too young boys working at an age when they should be in school or playing… Welcome to working for sweat shops and an age before work reforms. Why I picked that picture.
My grandad was a factory trained mechanic at Citroen in 1906 which means he started work at age 14 and made master in 2 years. Owned his own repair shop by age 22 and worked until he was 60. Made of sterner stuff back then but many still do this today, so all is not lost.
Twatter has all our favorite politicians extolling the work force today. Assholes.
Labor Day, where hard working people lament things like “why do I have to pay off somebody elses college loans”.
Labor Day today, so I labored. I was once told the older you get, the farther behind you get and with all the work piled up around here, it’s coming true.
