FYI, the Chinese value the root in cooking. I have heard of big money for it. Might be worth digging up some.
Looks like what is happening up here in SW PA with Japanese Knotweed…….
Too bad the fuel companies don’t use kudzu for ethanol, instead of food crops. Or would that cut into the grifts too much?
LB, I am in South Dakota and ethanol is big business here and the corn they use is not food grade corn. They use land that can grow food grade corn and other plants but the corporate welfare program. They can use hemp also, but that has been outlawed since marijuana laws were enacted. Two crops, Kudzo and hemp which can grow on marginal lands can supply all the ethanol they want. The mash left over from distilling corn for ethanol is fed to cows in the area and cows love it, gets them a little drunk too…
