Pity we’re all so far away from each other, I need a little help with that Jeep engine I’m putting together. Cant woof around the heads like I used to, and these are ALUMINUM !!
Me and my buds did that many a time when younger, any excuse to drink beer. We are spread to the wind now
Absolutely words to live by!
My buds that used to gather at which ever mutual friend’s (actually, it didn’t even hafta be a friend, just someone that needed to get sumthin done) house that needed the engine built, pulled – or any dam thing else for an excuse for us to get together and get greasy and drink many, many beverages🥃🥂 – are all olde phartts now, and it’d probably take all of us that’re left to move a dam tire around (on the rim!). Dam, I miss those times (and being able to actually do that stuff)!!!!
Y’all take care,
Mike (in FLA).
Put another way, (from my friend Hugh Jardon) I can’t dunk a basketball or run a marathon any more, but I sure enjoy the memory of doing so.
AND we’re on the green side of the lawn.
No argument there, Paul! ‘Course, we hafta say it a bit different here – we’re on the right side of the dirt – for now, anyway. And yer right about having fond mam… er …. memories of those times.🙃
