It’s not so much I lose or drop them out of reach, I work on boat engines, I wear them out taking engines apart. Using air tools wears all sizes out.

I have a 10mm 12 point spot welded to a speed wrench.
At that point all you need is a hand small enough to reach down in there. My 2XL hands do not reach into small places.
I can almost GUARANTEE that when I drop stuff in an engine compartment, you will NOT be able to get your hand down in the area where it is.
Had to buy a magnetic grabber on the end of a collapsible stick because I dropped a small nut down the spark plug hole!
Rotated the engine by hand to get the piston all the way up…,FORTUNATELY the nut was NOT aluminum or brass!
