I agree. There was some smoldering hotness that Jan had and that Loni didn’t.
True. Natural vs. masses of makeup and plastic surgery always wins.
The time? It probably went to the same place as the head of hair once worn by Phil and Cederq. Ya know, if you want, the readers of this blog would maybe send in a selection of clippings after their next visit to a barber, you can rustle your hand in a bagful and relive your twenties again. So long as your other hand is holding the bag still, not wandering elsewhere.
Jan Smithers / Loni Anderson was in my opinion the 80’s equivalent of the the Mary Ann / Ginger comparison, and could only be personally resolved by each individual. I was team Mary Ann, Team Jan, as both seemed more fully developed, and would have been better company, in any manner you wish to interpret the meaning. This is my opinion, and only has to fit me correctly, but I never was one to try and force the issue.
