  1. I filled up my home’s fuel-oil tank on Friday, which holds 275 gallons total. I go through about three tanks per winter. When fuel-oil was $3.00 – $3.50 a gallon, it cost me, on average over the last 6 years (including taxes), $400.00 for a fill-up.

This past Friday: 217 gallons, $917.00!

My piggy bank looks like your piggy bank, only laying on its side, gasping for life!

BTW, 87 octane is $3.99 a gallon here in Norther Indiana.

  2. I keep my tank full and have several hundred liters of fuel stored and rotated on the regular. This bullshit just hardens my resolve to be an better conservative.
