After busting my narrow ass and working myself to the point of exhaustiion cleaning up the front yard yesterday, I decided to take the day off and go fishing.
It was an excellent decision.
I loaded up the truck and headed over to the dock sticking out in the Columbia River at Washougal Wa., my old stomping grounds.
It was a beautiful 80 degree sunny day with minimal wind.
I saw several Ospreys doing their thing, I even saw one dive into the river less than 50 feet away at one point. Geese, Ducks, Egrets all did their thing nearby also.
I even managed to catch a few fish for once.
2 Smallmouth Bass and 3 little Perch.
Like I said, it was a good day and I really needed that.
I already know tomorrow is going to be a Monday all day from the crap I left on Friday but that’s OK.
I’m all out of Give A Fucks when it comes to that shit and it is what it will be.
But it sure was nice to have one complete FuckItAll day to myself for once.
I am impressed! They weren’t mud puppies….
I went fishing once – I was about 15. That’s a wasted day I’ll never get back . . .

I can only wish it was 80 here. 111 degree heat index so far today. The damn fish would be fried before I could get it off of the hook. Thank God it’s only 44% humidity so far or it would be a whole lot worse.

I have been down in your area a few times, use to live in Ozark and Enterprise, worked in Dothan and my wife and I would head down there for relaxation and there were a couple of small dairies, cows and goats and we went for the cheeses they made. If I was gonna move back there it would be slightly east of you
Yea…east of here over to about Tallahassee has some pretty open spaces for the most part…If you stay close to or north of I-10.
Get down around the beaches and it’s tourist hell.
Even the worst day of fishing is still better than the best day of work. Good onya but looks like a good day of fishing.
