Or drown the whole thing with a can of wolf brand chili…
Depending on the day of the week, that bread could be a hamburger bun or a hot dog bun……..
That picture is probably of some retarded Canadian as I seem to recall they screw hot dogs up by putting catsup on them.
To a stoner that’s a meal made in heaven.
Yeah.
Wheat bread is just wrong.

F & L – that there is what a whole lot more Americans are eating once a day (only meal) given Bidenomics. Don’t knock it, keeps you alive until things improve but don’t recommend breath holding..
Man that’s supper right there.
I add a bowl of Bush’s Pinto beans with a dab of habanero sauce and call it good.
When I was a kid, we’d have boiled hot dogs, split lengthwise, and topped with ketchup and sweet relish, on white bread.
Couldn’t tell you the last time I had a hot dog, but these days, it’d be grilled, on a bun, with mustard and onion.
But I go for an open-face hot dog sammich, topped with chilli too.
Change out the wheat bread for white bread and I’d go for it.
Ball Park or Nathan’s Famous, grilled until they start splitting, placed on a lightly grilled bun, with spicy mustard and grilled onions… Perfection.
seconded on the perfection part. but I like wheat bread.
and grilled or not chopped onions should always be on the hot dog.
fun fact, growing up my kids loved hot dogs, baked beans and tater tots for diner (?) can’t even remember the last time I had that though.
Mustard, yes. Ketchup, hail no. Sandwich bread, yup, we were poor growing up and couldn’t afford hot dog buns and even today I prefer them like that. Where are the chopped onions, is what I want to know.
Looks like lunch. I’ll take two.
That was the go to lunch as a kid. No fancy stuff like relish laying around in the fridge next to the powdered government milk and processed cheese.
I went to a little league baseball game and saw dogs on buns with all the fixings and thought I was in fancy city – at a county ball park.
That was lunch when I was a kid. Growing up poor kinda sucked.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, PB&J, BLT, baloney, salami, wasn’t life grand
I have the same comment on putting ketchup on hot dogs as I had on pineapple on pizza.
To each his own. However that doesn’t preclude the rest of us from thinking there’s something drastically wrong with you.
I don’t see any mayonnaise, Duke’s is the best, gotta have it no matter what bread. Gotta have mayo on my fries too. Mmmmmm.
I agree Bob! I lived in the South, Dukes the best. Now in Oregon with Wallie Mart… I bought a case they decide to do away with it.
