I collected these things for a little while back just before Y2K. I must have had sixty of the damn things of all types and sizes.
I got rid of all of them and now I have two or three.
My favorite one was a little tiny chrome plated one. Probably from an old sewing machine.
They still make them. Bought one ten years ago at Tractor Supply because I like shit I don’t have to plug in or maintain.
I pick up quite a few of them over the years. keep one or two by every machine down in the basement. I have 2 of the old eagle brass pump oilers too.
found them in that old machine shop I was helping with. the boss told me to keep them. and I have more way and spindle oil than I ever use too.
seems like I have one or two on every bench here. they handy as anything and they always work.
I have an old brass blowtorch, does that count?
