One of the things, after the quiet, I miss after leaving camp.
I have vivid memories of seeing the stars while camping above 10k feet in a dark wilderness. But I haven’t been able to see that in many years, and my ophthalmologist tells me that aging eyes are much less transmissible to light. With a couple of our online cohorts having cataract surgeries (or about to), I’m wondering if new lenses will give me that experience again.
