  1. Pet peeve of mine, Worked very hard to beat that into my kids, gonna send this meme to them for another shot.

  2. So true, I was trading a guy a Mossberg Shockwave for his Ruger 1911 Commander. His was worth 200 bucks more, I was ready to offer ammo as the buffer; He calls me 20 minutes before he is suppode to arrive! and asks if the trade is still on. I say , yeah!
I put all trade stuff aside and we traded heads up. His lack of respect for my time lead him to losing an even better deal. When he arrived an hour and a half late we did the deal. I did very well and he is none the better!

  3. “It tells people waiting for you that you don’t respect their time.”

    Amen, Brother.
This is a particular pet peeve of mine. I married into a family whose members are never on time. 9am to them means 9:45. You can set your watch by it. And they always have an excuse for being late.
    It’s beyond aggravating.

    • I physically flinched reading that. Twenty years of that shit. Only never an excuse, more of a “what’s the big deal?” The killer was that I’d go do something useful (like washing the dishes) while waiting (and waiting) then get bitched at with “why are you washing dishes if you’re in such a hurry?”

  4. In my case, it’s 22 years in a job where coming in late for work was literally a Federal Offense.

  5. It took my wife a while to get used to my insistence that I am going to be early every time I go somewhere. After a while, I broke her and she now is ready to go at the time that I set as departure time. Just my observation … most women don’t seem to have that particular peeve.

  6. Also one of my pet peeves. Drilled into me by Dad. I despise people that think it’s OK to show up late anywhere. Women seems especially prone to being late, at least most of the ones I’ve come in contact with, except Mom and 2 of 3 sisters.

  7. That’s fine but when I’m 1/2 hr early for an appointment & I’m still waiting 1/2 hr after the appointment time I don’t wait any longer . And I don’t make that appointment again no matter what it was for. Dr appointments especially.

    • Bob, I send doctors and clinics bills if I wait longer than 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time(I start the billing time when I sit my butt down in their waiting area). If it was the doctor he (may) would send you a bill for missing the appointment or would not see you if you were that late. I too, will not reschedule an appointment. My time is just as valuable as theirs.
