I used to be in the clown world of healthcare system and way back in the mid 80s I sense a great disturbance in the force, we were moving away from a hospital of healing to a 5 star resort experience… and to mulcting your wallet as much as we can from unnecessary tests and procedures and drugs. You know why they shortened your stay to two or three days from staying a week to ten days? The bean counters determined the hospital was losing money after three days, that they could not recoup additional moneys from the insurance companies. Injuries and post surgical procedures need observed healing time…three days aren’t enough.
It’s impossible to avoid morons, because… look what The Marching Morons have elected to run the joint!
