Elvis is alive, everyone knows that!
Elvis has just left the building
To this day, the theme music at the end of “The Wonderful World of Disney” can bring tears to my eyes. Because it meant the weekend was over, and tomorrow was a school day. Dad got to stay up and watch Bonanza, but we had to go to bed. Waaaaaa!
All in my life time except the debuts of the Wizard of Oz and the Corvette. Can’t say I remember all that shit though.
I was born in 1959. I’ll be 65 this year. People who were 65 when I was born were themselves born in 1894. The movie “Gone With The Wind” is now older than the end of the Civil War was when the movie came out. The High School class of 2004 will be having a 20 year reunion this year. We are seeing people who were born in the 21st century coming into the workforce with Engineering Degrees.
Corvette debuted 1953.
You beat me to it. I was born in the same year…
That list must have been written two years ago…
Adjust your calendar accordingly.
That meme is a couple of years old. The math is off.
Woops, wrong reply.

AHEM, yeah, CederQ, the maff is off. Where are you, Mister “There’s Always Math?” 🙂
When I was a kid I was downstream of WW2 by about twenty years. …Now I’m downstream of VIET NAM by FIFTY years!
I already feel old, thanks. Don’t forget about Ted Mack and the Original Amateur Hour, the Honeymooners, My Mother the Car, and My Favorite Martian.
Mr. Ed.

Tabitha on bewitched was an adult when I watched her as a child, but she’s listed as my age.
High Chaparral
We lost Linda Cristal in 2020 at the age of 89. She was also in The Alamo with John Wayne.
A hottie
The only one that debuted before me was The Wiz and only by five years.
