  1. I have learned the same thing on a much smaller scale with towing an RV trailer: You can bend metal and not even hear or feel it happening. I do wonder how far that trucker got before he noticed.

    • The fact that he backed up multiple times and kept trying to move forward is evidence that he should have known something was wrong, though I am sure he could see what the problem was in his mirror. I am guessing he underestimated how strong the post was.

  2. Perfect example of America today when you pick the person that isn’t the most qualified, but the one that’s most diverse! I’m sure the driver is the first darky, adolescent, pansexual, leftist alphabet soup +, one they could find. Remember when being a veteran got you preferred hiring status…. LGB!

  3. I saw a Swift trailer back over one of those yellow poles pushing it over. When he pulled forward the pole went in between the Manson bar and rear deck. This lifted the rear of the trailer so the rear tandem was off the ground and the front set were barely touching. The driver double downed and revved up the engine where he dumped the clutch in 1st gear. That pole dug a trench for about 8 feet until something grenaded in the transmission. He broke something in the drivetrain and almost ripped the rear off the trailer.

  4. I was fully expecting it to be a Swift truck, but it wasn’t. Swift will hire anybody with a pulse.

    • I dunno, I’ve seen Crashing Fools (CF, or Consolidated Freight) pull some really stoopid stunts… (not so) Swift doesn’t enjoy a monopoly!

  5. When they put governors on our fleet vans, the only thing I could pass was a Swift truck. But it took about five minutes….
