  1. Holy crap! He’s absolutely right, build a gallows in East Palestine and live stream the hangings.

  2. I don’t think that is a legit video clip, strikes me as an AI generated fake. Searching around online, I find no evidence of this being an active or breaking story, or even a link to a source for the posted video. This smells…off. An announcement like this would have to show up somewhere if it were real.

      • I hear ya. This clip trigger my “fakedar” almost from the get go. Too many weird compression artifacts in the video around Trump especially, and once I did some searching, and came up with zero current stories related to E. Palestine, it pretty well sealed the deal. Most of the recent reporting on that mess I found was from around September of last year.

It doesn’t help either that Trump loves to troll and make outrageous statements (like the Alcatraz thing the other day, which on further consideration had to be a troll job). There’s no way he could’ve been serious about that idea, but since he said it, it makes other things (like this video) that seem totally out of left field almost look legit at first glance.

Besides, having read extensively on the E. Palestine disaster and the underlying causes after it happened, it’s pretty unlikely to have been an terrorist action. It was corporate greed and shirt sighted policy, along with piss poor reliance on technology that failed them there.

They had less than ideally placed detector checks along that section of rails that failed to give a warning (when really needed) of an overheated wheel truck on one of the cars, and a crew that didn’t want to stop the train under fear of reprisal from NS who, like all large railroads, has been pushing to maximize uptime and utilization of resources. A stalled train that blocks a track is antithetical to their current way of operating.

  3. I hate to break it to ya Phil, but we’ve been punked our whole lives!

  4. Watch his mouth, the lips don’t match the words. There’s something hinky about the whole thing.
