Well, more of a contract job… it was supposed to be 2 or three chart audits every few months, then covid had to rear it’s evil purveyors and being evil, well, part time is almost full with unpaid overtime, kinda like being in the service.
it is the fucking ! I never do a contract job again.
did one once and got really fucked over by them.
never again
Hope the compensation makes the effort worthwhile
I thought about the part time thing a few times. just not worth it really as I can get by with what little I get. downsizing helps a whole lot with that.
don’t do the vacation thing anymore as there no where I want to go really.
hard enough trying to get the things I want to do around here done.
besides, I really do not want to give the gov’t anymore tax money than I have too.
used to work full time with 2 different part time jobs. got burned out and quit the part time gigs. got a audit from the fun folks at the IRS asking why the drop in income ? had to show them even though they ALREADY had all of the information. so, unless the dollar becomes worthless and I need a source of income. I not going back to work, even part time again.
but if the dollar becomes shit, so will the country. so maybe the next gig might be local wizard ? already have a ton of books on everything, a small fortune in tools
and some skills you do not put on your resume . who knows what the future holds ? like the old guy said in the movie, ” I know stuff”
May your efforts prove to be extremely fruitful CederQ buddy.
By the time all this is done, I might be able to afford that Lamborghini I never wanted… Even Guido is feeling neglected. What is horrifying is the utter neglect and indifference the medical personal have shown to some patients. Nurses and doctors that have advocated for the patients are summarily removed and forbidden to care for them. The charts don’ t relate what happened to the staff, just that they were removed from care. if you don’t trust the medical establishment now, you will once all this comes out and it will, too big to sweep under the floor.
yup. I saw a bit of that type of shit in the private sector of health care. saw some at the VA but not too much as the private hospitals.
a lot of people do go the extra mile for vets, but there are a ton of clock watchers there too. depends on where the Va hospital is really. big city- not so great as there seems to be more clock watchers than people who care.
smaller centers tend to care more for the vets.
then again it all depends on the staffing too.
a lot of good people get slammed in the system and end up
burned out.
Did an ER stint over the fourth of july. False alarm but it was fucking clownworld. Don’t get sick or injured and have to go to the ER people. If you do you will know of what I speak.
I had already read quite a few stories like Cederq’s before my issue occurred.
You have a PT job? Who knew!
