Avoid idiot drivers, there are far too many out there and carry a jerry can with 10 gallons fuel backup, along with coolant, oil and the usual tools. Done many cross country runs and having that stuff has saved my ass a few times.
I just wasn’t smart enough to get one of those for my backseat navigator; the one behind the camper.
