He’s clean and smartly stays predominantly with the blues phrasings, but I’m curious to see if he has any real fire in a real rock song.
This dude rules the guitar. I would bet he can play anything and any style of blues/ rock and make another statement..

Prince was one hell of a musician…way ahead of his time, but I could name more than a dozen guirarists who would smoke him.
I agree. I’m not a big Prince fan, but his solo at the 2004 Hall of Fame Inductions with Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne and others is to me the best solo for that song that I have heard.
