Hey Chuck, You Related?

The sign says it all, ‘Bama.

Except I do have one question.

How did they get her up in there in the first place?

I’m guessing backed up to the front porch and rolled her in.

  1. That looks like over on Sand Mountain; some of those Albertville folks. They ain’t right…
My guess is they backed up to the ramp at the house and she rode it in. That would explain the expression on her face.

    • Albertville or Northern Boaz people I agree, they ain’t right… Living in Hokes Bluff, ain’t too far behind them. I had an occasion or two to head over to Albertville and wanted a tetanus shot when I left….

      • Hoke’s Bluff is a helluva lot closer to normal than those Sand Mountain hillbillies.

        • I thought that looked like 431, been years since I have been there. I used to come up from Brundidge to the In laws in Hoke’s Bluff instead of going 231, and missed a lot of Talledega traffic during the races

  2. Engine hoist. No trailer in Alabama is complete without one in the yard, right next to the 74 Chevy Impala up on blocks.

    • Actually, it’s a ’79 Trans Am. And don’t forget the old couch and washing machine on the poorly built front porch.

      • Damn! You got a ’79 Trans Am? Hell son, I got me some new cement blocks to hep ya out there to work on it as well as a 24 pack of Bud Lite, ain’t nothing we can’t handle…

  3. Gotta ask yourself if when that El Camino got up to speed and the skirt bellowing around if you wanted to be there?

    • I’ll bet when the skirt blows up, it sounds like he’s running glass-packs.
And I see the El Camino is an ROSB edition…

  5. Gotta love the way “South” is straight ahead and to the right. I love Alabama and will never leave.
