I’d like to put an oblique shout-out to The Cajun Navy, who are of such great assistance when the flooding from hurricanes hit the South!

i have been a strong supporter of The Cajun Navy for years. volunteer work before i got to old, and financial support as much as i can now. when FEMA is backing up or giving up The Cajun Navy will be there, like running into a burning building, or swimming through the first or second floor of a building looking for people.
to do what they can to help others.
if you have never met those guy’s you have been lucky.
