  1. You thought the toilet paper panic was exciting? Wait until EBT covers a weeks food instead of a month’s.

      • I’ve pointed out before that TPTB have already run test cases of such. They called it a “computer malfunction” but the result is pretty dramatic: 24 to 48 hours at the outside before all hell breaks loose. As Ol’ Remus put it: “Stay away from cities.”

    • How convenient. Just as news spreads about possible food shortages due to poor grain harvests from high fertilizer and fuel costs, another staple crop suffers a big hit on the processing side of the supply chain.

      But hey, there’s no collusion to reduce food supplies in the USA.

  4. people will do almost anything when they are starving. rules, being nice, whatever you want to call it. will be gone. if you do not have any weapons yet, you better get some and the will to use them as well. it one thing to have and point a gun at someone, still another to pull the trigger and shoot them.
    ever wonder why the military done away with bulleye targets ?
    they found that most people have a problem with a human form in their sights
    so they went with the standard target they use now and for the last 50 some odd years, to get people used to seeing a human form in their sights.
    spent a little time with some guys from the army MTU a long time ago.
    funny the things you learn along the way.
    gardening will help out a lot when the time comes, helping and showing the clown next door will help BOTH OF YOU. it is a lot better to help him along the way than to worry about him stealing you stuff. just a few ideas
    besides it might turn out to be a good thing . the clown just might start helping you out with a few things as well. you never know.
