The Ports Shut Down
The once-busy port of Seattle has all but shut down.
The Port of Seattle on Sunday, April 27, 2025: EMPTY. This is the 4th busiest port in the nation. Inbound freight from China has STOPPED. Supply-chain disruption will now begin, nationwide. Anyone who has spent time in Seattle can tell you that these docks are always PACKED and the Puget Sound is usually overrun with waiting cargo vessels.
Here is the Marine-Tracker for Seattle: Waiting ships: ZERO. Inbound ships: ZERO. There are presently ZERO cargo ships docked or en-route. There are ZERO containers in the yard, and there are ZERO trucks waiting to haul cargo.

Even if this global trade war is ended tomorrow, it will take a minimum of 30 to 55 days, but more likely at 7-9 months, to normalize supply chains and have available product again. And that’s if everybody calls it off immediately. 40% of cargo vessels leaving China today (vessels that were already paid to make the journey, whether there is a reason to or not) are traveling completely empty. Inbound Shipping container volume is down 80%.
There were always going to be trade disruptions. This is a good time to get stocked up, top up supplies, and avoid travel and unnecessary expenses.
Liberal media would suggest that these port workers ‘learn to code’. They better do something to tide them over until US manufacturing gets going full steam. Cheap imports from china are a thing of the past. It’s going to take time and be painful but we can’t be a sovereign nation without a very strong manufacturing base.
Guess what? If everyone in the county said, “gee, I’d better make sure I have some supplies” the stores would be empty in no time.
Indeed! And it would perfectly illustrate what would happen should our ‘trading partners’ ever cut us off over a disagreement. It’s time to make our own brooms, dishes and clothing etc. right here in the USA.
I’m assuming most of us here have been smart enough to lay in a supply of necessary goods years ago.
Gotta go, I’m manufacturing a key component to Trumps ‘Golden Dome’ defense system.
Maybe not …

The purple dots are yachts but there are the locations of a few container ships that can be identified and their names looked up along with the time stamp (“three minutes ago”).
In the words of Corporal Jones “Don’t Panic”.

This is great.
This will be the much needed whip on America’s ass to get up and start building and manufacturing. Your kids need jobs, money and a future…and they need to build it themselves.
Canada needs the same treatment.
Eastern Canada just elected Carnival Carnie. It is time for Alberta and Saskatchewan to leave Confederation, stop paying for everyone else’s lifestyle and do our own thing.
Western Ontario fucked themselves over with their voting. Places like Sudbury and Kitchener don’t really have the stomach to return to work it seems.
Is there anyone who can tell me what is important about Toronto? Seriously. Just like they know the Maple Leafs will always fill the arena and not need to worry about paying the bills with a winning team, Toronto knows that as long as the West keeps paying for their inability to balance a budge will never matter – perennial parasites and losers.
Canada should really break up into parts: Manitoba-Saskatachewan-Alberta-Eastern BC, the North, Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. In a few years, Western Ontario would likely leave the Toronto-Ottawa-Hull area, Quebec would split into North-South and the Maritimes would struggle but do okay.
Screw Toronto and their Commie Utopia.
Either China will bend to the tariff costs OR eventually manufacturing will return to the US. Either way there will be a painful period of time for American consumers. Personally I would prefer the latter but that’s unlikely.
