FREAKIN AWESOME, although the Prairie Dogs and the Whistle Pig probably didn’t appreciate it…
Yeah, they just went to pieces over it….
Nice collection. #1 – what movie is that? I’ve seen a couple of the flicks here, but that one doesn’t ring a bell. Nope, still haven’t seen that Raquel Welch western – might be on my hard drive – don’t remember.
Is that Annie Oakley?
Never looked at fat merc cosplay dude in detail. Other than the overall effect, dumbest thing is that push dagger.
The utensils in the belt of “out of action” are a nice touch.
I believe that would be “100 rifles”. (1969)
Yes, that is Annie Oakley.
Well, dang! Another western featuring Raquel Welch? Gotta find that one too – the Internet Archive has only trailers, ah, there it is on YouTube. I should get One Million Years BC as well.
Bandolero! (1968)
100 Rifles (1969)
Hannie Caulder (1971)
I think they’re her only three westerns.
I was able to request them from the public library system. These days, that’s hit’n’miss. I definitely prefer old movies, vs. most of the crap that gets made these days.
I do miss G.Gordon Liddy’s annual “Girls With Guns” calendars. May have to snag a dozen of these and make my own.
Leave it to me to look at this, but I’m curious about that sky blue carriage. I know about the red carriages on the VMI cadet cannons, but I’ve never heard of bright blue like that.
Jay Bee, that and several others are on the Chalmette Battlefield, where “Col. Jackson fought the Bloody British at the town of New Orleans” as Johnny Horton sang it. A good bit of the revetements and moats built by the American’s can still be seen on the grounds, but I can’t speak to the color. Red is of course traditional for artillery and blue for infantry, can’t explain this one.
Ahhhh, to have that M79 shotgun and a pallet or three of 40mm ammo for it. Heaven.
If you ever get a chance to watch Barbara Stanwyck’s movie ‘Forty Guns’ do it. It’s a hoot and a half.
Surprised you didn’t have the iconic Hannie Caulder pic:

I do now! Thanks!
Hoo-Boy, Don’t Mind Me won that round!
You both won the round! Both of you find excellent subjects! Better than I could do.
True, no losers here!
You guys are the best! I’ll take one of each of the honeys
ps Claudia va Va voom. A short while ago I happen to catch the ending of Once Upon a Time in the West
Anyone up for a 500 Auto Max?
