I saw new 9mm ammo going for 19 cents a round. If you reload using todays pricing for components, bullets are 12 cents, primers are 9 cents, and powder is 2 to 3 cents per round. It is cheaper to buy new ammo. But if you are using primers that you bought back in the 90;s for $18 a thousand, bullets 20 years ago for $60 a thousand, and powder from 10 years ago for less than 2 cents a round then it is time to press out another thousand.
