  1. #14, I don’t think she (?) has plates in that carrier.
and after working in the ER of a big city hospital, you going to want FMJ to get thru all of that fat to hit something.
honest to GOD, we had a “big boy’ come in thru the trauma bay one night.
bloody as hell. was hit with a shotgun blast thru drywall (we found out later)
but on doing a lateral CXR on him, all of the shot was like 1-2 inches deep
IN FAT. but to listen to him, you would have thought he was going to die at any minute. you should have seen his face when the doc told him to stop bitching so much. priceless !
oh, and I am not worried about the Antifa clowns. most of them if not all will shit themselves when the clown next to them gets hit.

    • More on #14: Of course the only one with something resembling trigger discipline is a ham planet. Because of the perversity of the universe or something.

In addition to the lack of plates, all that stuff looks literally brand new, right down to the morale patches. Now, that’s great — I’d be happy if they were all just LARPing, but unfortunately the hardcore left no doubt have a few Serious People stashed away. I’m curious to see what will lead to them being activated.

  2. I saw new 9mm ammo going for 19 cents a round. If you reload using todays pricing for components, bullets are 12 cents, primers are 9 cents, and powder is 2 to 3 cents per round. It is cheaper to buy new ammo. But if you are using primers that you bought back in the 90;s for $18 a thousand, bullets 20 years ago for $60 a thousand, and powder from 10 years ago for less than 2 cents a round then it is time to press out another thousand.
