  1. Picture 31: Jeep in a crate. That is a current reproduction of a 1942 Willy’s MB. They run about $15,000 for a complete body kit. But there is no engine or drive train included. So you would have to source your own engine, transmission, transfer case, axles, and brakes.

  2. #56: I knew a guy who was in the 11th ACR when George Patton’s kid was running it. He said they mounted a mini-gun on an APC and went out looking for trouble, and found it. I asked him how that worked out and he said real good for about five minutes, and then they ran out of ammo and it was like, let’s get the hell out of here!

    • knew a guy with the 9th back when they where doing convoy runs
they had a minigun they got from “somewhere” and put it on the m113 track. only problem was they had to back up on something to get it to shoot level, something with the mount .
anyway, one night run, old Charlie hit them, a new guy on the gun let it rip. sending 2000 tracers towards the moon. Charlie got real quiet after that bit he said. and they made the run without any bullshit after that little bit. late 69 I think it was. not sure anymore as it was a long time ago now.

  3. 3 Shoot lower sheriff, I think he’s crawling

  4. 5 … I know Sean Penn is no spring chicken but I didn’t know he’d served in the Civil War

  5. 31
the liason watbird I owned arrived in the field that way. The manual said three guys could get in flying in three hours.

  6. No 1 brought back memories. I got a 70 series, satin nickel, stripped Commander frame in the early 80’s. Put it together with a blued Commander upper, had Terry Tussey do a reliability, accuracy job on it. That’s what I carried (illegally) until ’91, when I got the Glock 19 that is still my EDC. I got legal with the G19, when I got my ccw in Tennessee in 2016.

  7. Better than a boxed jeep is a crated P-47 Thunderbolt. Yes, really. And there were instructions on how to unbox and assemble said Thunderbolt. Save the crate to make housing for the crew.

A lot of the Bolts flying out of France were shipped there in boxes and assembled.

  8. #55 throwing mixed messages. I mean hair in ponytail and knee pads, but then there’s the guns. Pick how you get blown away?
