XM148 was a POC. It was next to impossible to field strip as there were lots of small parts. You needed a workbench to do it.
The M-79 was very light but the ammo wasn’t. In my 2 year stint (11B) I got to play with all the Mechanized Infantry toys. No Soviet incursions on my watch!
