There were articles a month or so ago about the price of coffee going up and I read another one this morning. Seems the coffee producers use the same Russian fertilizer that is going to be unobtainium this year. The article did note that some of the smaller producers are turning to “organic” fertilizers instead of mineral based fertilizers to help control costs. I’m reading “organic” as cow, pig and sheep shit. So, if next year your coffee starts tasting like poop you’ll know why ;-)).
This past week my favorite brand was selling for 40% off so I bought 10 bags. I might just go back to the store this morning and buy ten more. That’s almost six months of usage for me and should carry me through to when it goes on sale again.
