  1. Hey brother, where do we find Phil these days?

Cold Fury is ‘forbidden’ when I try to go there.

    • Here, or over there… This is our primary site and the back up, semi posted site is Vulgar Curmudgeon.blogspot.com
The Coldfury site has been nuked from orbit and is beyond help…

  2. I might seriously have to look into that set of pliers.
It’s damn hard to find a set of crimpers with a decent set of plier nose grips fucking anywhere.

    • Phil, I believe you can get them at Thomas and Betts, that is where I got mine through their catalog and I got a 10 to 4 gauge crimping tool.

  3. Klien makes good tools, all I gots is the cheapie stamped one that has jaws that misalign when you really try to get a good crimp. Ends up cutting through the insulation sleeve. NAPA special, I believe…

    • Not a bad price, I believe when I got mine ten years ago it was about fifty bucks, but I only buy the best, cheap don’t do it for me.

  4. I have a channellock version. Two actually.

Those circles are bolt cutters, I believe. thread it in, cut it, thread it out, the threads are fixed. My channel lock as four of them for different size small bolts.

  5. I have two of the Klein electrician’s needle nose pliers. They are worth their weight in gold. If I were still employed doing broadcast engineering work, I would get one of these in a heartbeat. I can’t really justify the expense now since I am retired, although I would still love to have one. You know, tools!
