Nice, when I was a kid Ray would let me and my brother hop on his three wheeled machine and do donuts in the cul-de-sac. Kids today will never know or experience the really good times.

back in Philly, we had a great mailman. Mike, who was a Marine and the nicest person you ever meet. he carried treats for cats and dogs with him all the time.
one time we caught him by his truck with 3-4 cats waiting for treats, jumping up and down on him. really fun to watch. he used to pet my dogs as they where taught
to never take anything from anyone else but us. Yeah, it could get that bad in Philly.
I can’t tell you how many times I found hot dogs in the yard and ally way that smelled of anti freeze. didn’t used to be that way, but with all of the hood rats that moved in the neighborhood changed big time. it was time to move away from “them”
I had to put a basket under the mail slot in the door cause if it gets to the floor it’s fair game for the hellion little dog. Tax bill, jury summons it doesn’t matter to her she’s gonna tear it up.
That mailperson is the salt of the earth, and must love dogs. It helps that Pippa looks to be a thoroughly lovable dog!
The big treat of the day is when I take my dogs out to get the mail. The person who delivered our mail before she retired carried dog biscuits and when she had to deliver packages to the door I would let the dogs out for a treat from her. Always gave her a Christmas tip and once I left her a box of dog biscuits
