The crashed sattelite is an old cement mixer that was abanded after the truck crashed. It was so full of cement it was no salvagable. Years later some one painted it like a space capsule.
Not to mention that a “crashed” one would be busted up and burnt up.
Orbital speed is a minimum of 5 mi/sec (8K/sec). If it doesn’t burn up it will be unrecognizable unless it’s a nuclear reactor core or had just suffered a launcher failure…

I’ve seen probably a dozen pictures of them that have fallen back to earth.
They weren’t burned up or even singed. Funny thing was they all had translucent balloons attached to them just like what flew across the country a couple months ago.
That thing has a lot of tinfoil on it.
For hats? Bwahahahaha
Lifetime supply!!!!
I seem to recall a T.V. Series where a Backyard Inventor built a Spaceship using a Concrete Mixer for the Crew Compartment…
That was “Salvage One” with Andy Griffith. I thought it was a pretty good show. There were 13 episodes the first season, and 6 more the second season before it was cancelled.
