If the pelvic bone fragments cut up his aorta or femoral arteries then that’s a bleed out right there situation. If not, it’s shocking what people can survive. But yeah, if not dead, wishing he was.
Years ago I saw a Canada goose get run over. The tire went over its legs and lower body. The head and wings were untouched so the bird was still alive. It spread its wings and tried to rise, but the lower body was literally smooshed to the pavement. The bird’s mate was frantic, trying to help its partner. But of course even a fully equipped veterinary OR would not have made a difference. That was grievous to see.
I feel worse, much worse, for that poor bird than the asshole who got run over.
I don’t know what that guy at the end said. But he sounded sincere.
