Funny you should say that about lesbians and quote Paglia. She describes herself as “transgender” but most people would consider her a lesbian. Anyway, she’s the sane version of the sexually-deviant feminist. Paglia is a fierce critic of post-structuralism and modern-day (“hate all men”) feminism. I ran out of my pain med on Friday, made a into the chemists on Saturday, with difficulty. But my doctor’s e-script had been written with a typo of 07 (July) for the date instead of 08 (um – August?), no big deal, right? It is, when your doc has the weekend off. Oh joy, Karma has been watching me and waiting, the fucker.
I put that out to brighten Monday for you two.

If it weren’t for the spunky air hosties clamouring is look after me on my trips back and forth to Brisbane (12 in the last year), it would only be the Nursing Sisters looking after me that show me any consideration. I don’t wish to be ungrateful, but I’d rather have done without it all.
Four eye surgeries down south (including the medical accident) and six less intense ones up here, shit o dear, I’m sick of it all. The prognosis is eventual blindness, which I’m trying to delay, not very successfully.

I agree with the OP sentiments, but will point out BOTH genders (the only two btw) take each other for granted all the time. When you find a spouse that has your back, you should occasionally point out that you really appreciate that and do something extra nice for them.

I look up the coal miner with great respect as I sit here waiting for the pain pills to work so I can TRY to move around today. Retired after 52 years of sometimes HARD labor and am amazed I still here. IT AINT FUN anymore.
