Scorched Earth Policies have been around ever since a politician or king considered methods of controlling others.
AGW has been debunked time and again. The earth is not heating rapidly, or otherwise.
QM, the Earth is not heating, absolutely true, it’s all just a big scam by the likes of Gore, and little Thunberg’s Commie handlers. All of which does not help when your home or farm burns down, just because Deep State psychos gotta rule the world the way they want it.
Who needs the military to carry out a Scorched Earth policy when the U.S. Forest Service is perfectly capable of doing that all by themselves, with their Sierra Club approved ‘Let It Burn’ policies?
After starting as a quarter acre smoke in early July of last year the fire was finally contained at 68,637 acres three months later at a cost of almost $9 million after the U.S.F.S. brainiacs made the “tactical management decision not to insert fire crews” when the fire was a quarter of an acre.

There is very little in rural america that could more quickly render long range sniping socially acceptable than the merest suspicion of widespread arson.
Even folks who object to capital punishment for murder, will go there without reservation over arson. Tresspass would quickly become a death sentence.
Everything that’s been happening makes sense….when you accept the fact that they want MOST of us dead.
The “military” didn’t come up with this. A few people, often only civilians, are set up in think tanks to come up with ideas good and bad. The fact that they come with an idea does not mean it is something even considered by the military.
Having said that; the purpose of the military io to protect us and to win when sent into battle. I want no restrictions on the military that would cause them (meaning all of us) to lose. Those of you who want us to lose need some serious self examination.
That would be the *expected* purpose of the military. I suppose the issue is with those actual occasions when the military adopts the view that it should win *against* US citizens as a group.
Give me an example of our military adopting the view that it should win *against* US citizens as a group.

The “classic” case would be the war we now call the civil war, even though the south made no attempt to control the north, so it was most certainly not a “civil war”. Clearly none of the original 13 colonies would have joined the union if they had thought they could not back out of the deal.

After serving 21 years in the military, one thing I can say for sure is it can’t keep a secret. Anytime more than one person is involved, someone will talk (brag over beer with buddies). Even SOF’s aren’t immune, sure you will never hear every little dirty detail, but the boys will eventually let small details slip.
I recall seeing articles about ‘antifa’ types being Arrested for starting Fires in Rural Areas of Washington and Oregon, a Year or two ago. There were also Rumors that some of the would-be Arsonists went into the Woods and didn’t come Out….
In real Military Terms, Fire is both a Tactical and Strategic Warfare item- from Fire Arrows to Napalm, Burning of Fortifications and Cities has been ‘standard procedure’ for Centuries.
In WWII, the Japanese Army spent a lot of Effort on a program to send Unmanned Balloons with Incendiary Bombs across the Pacific to the U.S. West Coast – their objective was to start Forest Fires, as Wood was a Strategic Material for many uses in War Production. (That’s why Japan is still rather Bare of anything we would call a ‘Forest’. They used it All)
The U.S. Mil has Still never admitted if these Weapons had any Effect, but in at least one Instance, a Balloon that Landed without its Ordinance being Triggered caused some Casualties when it was Found and Disturbed by Civilians.
