We already have one. It’s called Real ID, imposed on us by the notorious Real ID Act of 2005. They obscured the reason for imposing this law on us because of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. Supposedly this ID requirement is to prevent terrorism. Try getting on a plane or train without one.
“A REAL ID is a type of driver’s license or identification card that meets federal security standards, allowing you to board domestic flights and access secure federal facilities. It features a star in the upper right corner and is required for certain activities starting May 7, 2025.”
Of course Bribem & Co. completely ignored this when shipping illegal aliens by airplane all over the country. They justified it by pointing out that The Law wasn’t in effect when they were doing it.
Sanctuary states are ignoring the law by giving illegals driver licenses without proof of citizenship.
