knew a MSG back the 1980’s who met her back during the war. she was doing a USO tour with Bob Hope. she walk thru and talked with the wounded guys and held their hands. he recalled her fondly. he said it was worth getting shot to met her.
she was in his words “a very special and classy lady” and that was after almost all those years too. safe to say, she left a impression on him.
Saw that and damn, still thought I had a chance.
Didn’t know she was 82. My guess would’ve been mid-70s.

A beautiful woman. Not many like her. RIP.
Beauty, class, and a wonderful down-to-earth attitude. Since I never heard her give an opinion on anything, I’ll be willing to bet she was rather Conservative. She often stated that she didn’t give a care about the tabloids and their opinions – and they were always trying to get dirt on her.
She will be missed.
A really classy lady indeed.
And yet that bitch Jane Fonda still breathes.
