When are we Irish and Scots decedents are going to get our reparations? Seems $200 Million which the tards in california are batting arounds sounds about right and we can document a hell of a lot more and accurately then the nogs from Africa can.

  1. I am descended from the Scots-Irish as well. My dad’s people were brought here in the late 1600s. Not as guests, but likely as slaves. And from my research, not highly valued and treated much worse than the African slaves. I’d be fine with some reparations. 200 million seems right.
    Pay me the money.

  2. I’m half Irish, so sign me up. I’m also half Polish, and I demand royalties from the “Stupid Pollock Jokes” that were so popular!

  3. My French ancestors had no choice and my Native American Ancestors had their land stolen. If anyone deserves reparations it’s me. But considering one grandfather came over from Germany in the early 1900’s, do I owe myself reparations? Can I just skip paying taxes and call it even?

  4. IIRC, the canals in NOLA were dug by slaves. They started with blacks but too many were dying so they brought in Irish. Legend has it the banks are the graves of the Irish slaves.

  5. I’m a third generation american on my Mothers side descended from plain old potato famine refugee Irish Catholics who figured out that being able to subsistence farm over here on land you were allowed to own was better than starving over there. I was also raised by Irish nuns in Catholic school. I say all that to address the question of why you don’t hear Irish Americans looking for reparations. It’s because they ain’t whiny little bitches.

    • Not whiny bitches is part of it, but the main reason is that it’s not convenient to The Narrative.

West-African negro suffering is the second-most important suffering in the entire history of mankind. On account of how cruel and unique it was. Why, there’s only one kind of suffering that was ever worse.

      • I completley agree, I was just trying to humourously point out the exact amount of whining those Irish Nuns put up with. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Those Nuns get credit for every good decision I ever made and getting upset about some evil that happened in the past wasn’t part of the deal. They had ways of getting you real focused on the here and now!

  6. Not knocking anything but they are saying 1.2 million per claimant but only 200 million total? That is like 198 total payees. Seems like there are more colored peopled that that in LA.

Fish rot from the head and this smells like dead fish to me.

    • Paul, it was in an article that ITOW carried that some of the leftards on that commission overseeing the nog slave “Reparations” thought they should be getting $200 million each… that is where I used that figure and not out my butt. It is all bovine BS.

      • I gotta see this. Give each nog 200 mil and watch what the price of chicken nuggets does. Morons.

      • Not calling you out, cederic. Just something is off about this whole thing.

        • It’s Cederq and it was in one of IOTW’s short clips about the tards on the commission that is overseeing the california nog reparations voiced that is what they wanted, not what they were going to do. If you go look for yourself, I ain’t doing your research to refute me it’s at: https://iotwreport.com look through their archived shorts to find it.

        • HeeHaw! You guys are killing me! That’s why I like to slither thru here.

  7. The two non native ancestral brothers settled on the Maryland Delaware border in 1702. Damn glad some of the descendants headed west.

  8. The history of “indentured servitude” is NOT what we were taught in our Civics or History classes. Dare I say it was “whitewashed”? We were led to believe it was a seven year contract in exchange for passage to the New World. Ask yourself why is it that so many of such people did not survive those seven years.
The best history of the Scots-Irish I’ve ever read is Jim Webb’s book Born Fighting. Another one is They Were White and They Were Slaves by Michael Hoffman. Also Nancy Isenberg’s White Trash: The 400 Year Untold History of Class in America. A really funny and rude take is Jim Goad’s book The Redneck Manifesto.
It took a long time for my redneck roots to come out, but they have with a vengeance, and I appreciate them more all the time.

  9. I remember both of my Grandads telling me of their early years. My Irish Grandad was born in 1903, he told me about the signs he used to see where employers would post “Irish and Italian need not apply.” My Italian Grandad was born in 1918, they changed the spelling of the last name to get work easier. His future bride’s brother owned a building contractor business, they were from England, my Grandfather dug ditches for his future brother inlaw. When my Dad was born his English grandparents did not see him until he was 4 years old. They despised the fact that their Episcopal daughter had married a Catholic let alone an Italian. But these are the way thing were right or wrong they happened. Blacks are not the only oppressed peoples everyone of a lower social standing was at one time or another.
Reparations are only to drive a financial wedge and start conflict
