My uncle was a Dodge dealer and would give my brother and me postcards that featured the newest Dodge models. We had stacks of them but Mom either threw them away or a thieving cousin took them but no matter, they’re gone. I still remember how much I liked the tail fins on those old Dodges.
GE’ME a 67 Belvedere GTX 440 magnum, HOOKER fender-well headers,(lots of gaskets) torque flight transmission and a few more little goodies……AND…..WE GO!
Neighbor has a ’46 that he restored.
Worst engine ever conceived was the slant six. Had it in my old 73 Dodge Dart Sport. When it rained hard and a car passing on the highway threw a sheet of water your way – look out because chances were that the engine would quit right there. Wlfey HATED that car.
#5 is a Plymouth – not a desoto
I like the looks of the 77 Monaco and the 70 Super Bee.
First car was a Dodge Dart bicentennial edition. Had no a.c.. No FM radio. Other than that a great car
My first car was a ’60 Plymouth Valiant, Slant-6 with a 1 barrel carburetor. Dad bought it from some airman that was going over-seas, probably Southeast Asia, at the local air patch. The damned thing was painted with a powder puff and the leftover paint was in the trunk. The only brake that worked on it was the left rear.
I resolved from that point forward never to buy a used vehicle again.
Rich Corinthian leather and Ricardo Montalban come to mind.
That isn’t a ‘1968 Dodge Phoenix’; maybe 1958.
That’s not a 1968 Polaris, either.
