  4. Cannon fodder, yes, but they have been “training” for the last few years, which makes them more dangerous, because a little knowledge gives them a false sense of skill, and there are a lot of them. Keep being extra observant, we don’t know what will happen next, or when.

    Read a couple stories this AM relating how he’s “livid” he got fired. He still doesn’t get that free speech doesn’t apply to making your employer look bad or saying something that gets your employer or his employer’s sponsors BOYCOTTED.

  6. We need to stop the money going from the US to foreign countries by illegals. Once that stops it kills the illegals and the foreign countries from sending them.

    Next the government needs to go after NGOs, Soros, Ford Foundation, and others that bankroll the support for illegals, Big Pharma, Big Med, and MSM.

  8. I have no problem with most of the examples of firings, companies have that right. Kiimmel is different. He’s not funny but he was cancelled because the FCC threatened to revoke ABC’s broadcast license unless he was cancelled. That’s a violation of the 1st amendment and a dangerous precedent.
    Think what the libtards would do with this kind of power.

      • Which media companies lost their license or were threatened with revocation of license by the government for political speech? I may be wrong but I can’t think of any when either party was in charge before now.

          • Definitely a different bird in the white house. No matter how foul the new fowl, the constitution, including the1st (and 2nd) amendments still exists, for now.

        • ABC doesn’t have a broadcast license. The individual local stations with which they have affiliation agreements have broadcast licenses granted by the FCC. Therefore, ABC cannot be threatened with a forced shutdown by “revoking their broadcast license”.

          As well, cable networks do not have broadcast licenses, as they do not broadcast over the air (on RF spectrum allocated by the FCC in their issued license), so any similar talk of shutting down cnn, msdnc, fux snooze etc. in such a manner are all non-starters proffered by idiots who have no grasp of the facts. Sure, they could be sued out of existence by the DOJ on fabricated charges, or if the government goes full tyrant, their facilities could simply be arbitrarily seized as politically motivated punishment. But they have no broadcast license to pull, and thereby face no risk in that particular regard. So, having burned your straw man, please try again.

          Now, if the government had begun going after individual local stations and threatening to pull their broadcast licenses, perhaps your argument would have some merit. Even then, I don’t really give a shit, because leftists have used these types of tactics against the good guys for decades, and some – actually lots of – retribution is in order. The law means sweet fuckall now anyway, so rampant abuses will continue to take place until those in government openly violating it get shot in the face.

          Furthermore, it’s plainly obvious the government is going to fuck us all in any way they possibly can, irrespective of whether or not there are laws on the books that make it “illegal” for them to do so. It matters not who is in office, the results are always further abridgement of our rights, and further enshittification of society in general. The two “teams” differ only slightly by matter of degree, so fuck both sides.

          Look at Blondi publicly discussing “hate crimes” prosecutions. Any time the left is in power, they love this shit, since they can (and do) so effectively use it against their political opponents. I don’t hear shitlibs complaining about that now, because they fully intend to do the same thing whenever they happen to regain power again. But oh, how they squeal like pigs being slaughtered when one of their own is felled by the sort of tactics that they’d long thought they held the exclusive franchise to. Well, tough titty said the kitty, but the milk tastes good.

          • Indirect pressure. FCC threatens owners of affiliates like NextStar with 70 stations. Shutting down enough affiliates and ABC is mortally wounded. Not complicated.

            • Yes, but that’s not factually what happened. The chairman of the FCC made unspecified verbal threats against the ABC network, not their affiliates (yet, anyway). And I will reiterate: I don’t give a shit even if he does.

              The left has been entirely unprincipled in attacking the political right with censorship, “cancel culture” and other intimidation tactics for decades. The constitution is a dead letter, it is self evident that nobody in government cares what it says, or strives operate within it’s constraints.

              That being reality on the ground, I have no issue with the right returning the favor in spades. The left is only concerned and
              bitching about it now because their sacred cows are the ones getting gored. Well, it’s touching that they suddenly want to protect free speech rights, when they are on the receiving end of their own favored tactics.

              Naw, fuck ’em. Since there is no actual constitutional protection anymore, we may as well fight as dirty as they have. Remaining principled has only lost us ground for decades. That’s played out and over now. Sucks to be on the losing team, doesn’t it?

    Also, just pay attention to the ‘Trump’ doing all the bluster-‘n-bullshit, he is noticibly shorter, and his ear-lobes differ from the younger versions of Trump – the younger Trump’s ear-lobes fuse into his cheeks the ‘imposter’ has hanging ear-lobes.

  12. As I understand it, 2 affiliates declined to carry Kimmels show, as they have merger or sale approvals before the FCC. No approvals means no sale, and their stockholders are left holding the bag. As the comments by Kimmel and others simply come across as ranging from tone deaf, to outright mean-spirited, the affiliates are attempting to distance themselves from the controversy.

    The “Censorship” argument does not hold water. This was a calculated business decision.
    The left is playing this as another over-reach by Trump. Nothing new there. Fuck Kimmel.

    • Government merger approvals shouldn’t depend on the hurt feelings of a thin-skinned man child in the white house. It is censorship.
      Flip the script and imagine a demonrat in the white house threating conservative outlets for making fun of them.
