I haven’t thought of Roy D Mercer in a long time. I used to listen to him on the way to work. Sometimes I would laugh so hard I would spit coffee on the dash and windshield of my truck. Very funny and plumb crazy he was.
I lived in Tulsa during that reign. Phil and Brent were the bomb and KMOD was a classic rock station. One died, the other smartly retired the next day. I still laugh my ass off when I hear their skits replayed.
I would say from the accent the guy is not from the hills of New England,but……,I ever come across him the beers are on me!
He seems to be indicating that the guy was “acting” like a dumbass.
I submit for consideration the idea that he wasn’t “acting” like a dumbass out in public. He was actually a dumbass out in public. I believe that if you investigated Mr. Stripe Shirt’s life you would find it replete with other instances and indications of dumbassery.
I see so much of this I just want to stay home all the time.
