We still have a friend or two we like to go out to dinner with, but more often than not i miss having my nap time which makes me unhappy and I ponder if it is worth it to have friends.
every time I get caught in traffic. I plan trips to town. always go and make 3 or more stops or visits when we do go to town. it is 45 minutes each way, downhill
going and uphill back. and I always try to make it between 10.30 and 3 at the latest
to be getting out of there. most times we have lunch somewhere while we out.
depends though. the closest town is great, don’t get me wrong. but I rather be home before dark anymore. the only thing we do different is food shopping.
that sometimes is a one off event.
when I lived back in philly, I couldn’t wait to move out of that shithole city.
you had to stand guard over your stuff when unloading it from the car/truck
they stole anything they could back there, and if they couldn’t steal it, they try to fuck it up somehow. why anyone stays there is beyond me.
e-v-e-r-y time now. stupid drivers, stupid people doing stupid crap.
Cities are going to Hell, and the Handbasket is optional. I try my hardest NOT to go into the city, and mine is a relatively “safe” one!
It’s bad enough living in the suburbs…
I had that discussion this morning with a fellow blog participant.
