Hell, riding around Half Moon Bay near Monterey I wouldn’t do that kind of jump around the dunes and creeks flowing around there. I am of Klaus opinion, too many potential broke bones…
During riding weather isn’t a weekend go by I don’t have at least one patient who trashed themselves trying to accomplish such a stunt.
Two potential problems for him:
Turning from pavement to dirt. He didn’t even use the full width of the road to get a straighter shot for the dirt launch. Looks to still have some lean angle in the air.
Landing site is not smooth. Crop leavings from a combine, I think, plus the original plow furrows that remain to some degree.
Yeah, but it’s a soft; (crash) landing… right?!?
It always is, if the rider is softer than the landing pad.
