Glad that the day of mooselum rage was relatively peaceful, but still exercising situational awareness. Husband carries, so we’ve got that.
Very quiet here at bustednuckles. Perhaps everyone is busy visiting Irish’s blog. 😁
And where is Igor? I do pray that the good man is okay. Jedi master that he is.
Us? We almost died this evening. Seriously. Or maybe I’m being dramatic. Per our normal Friday, when the husband gets home from work, we hop on the Harley and go for a beer and a bite. Cruising down the road at 60mph (Ricky Bobby likes to go fast). Car pulls out from a side road turning left in front of us. He had to brake so hard that the tires were screeching and the bike was doing the death wobble. I was sure we were going to go down. Thank god he has the muscle to control that 800lb beast between our legs. We were within feet of collision. Glad he recently replaced the tires and did a brake job on the ‘Punisher’. Glad to be alive.
Sorry. Just had to vent
THIS is the reason I sold my bike. I had 2 almost collisions because people don’t see bikes. Amd mine was BIG.
I decided I preferred walking/breathing to the alternative, though I DO miss riding…
I’m here, Sandy – we (Just my wife and I) are organizing, boxing, and throwing out 15 years of accumulation in our present home. Pick up the 26′ moving van on the 21st to load it. Moving van with my SHO in a tow dolly, 34′ Beaver Motor coach with the Jeep Gran Cherokee in toad (flat tow all four tires on the road.)
Oh, and the kicker? I now have a Kidney Stone in EACH side in the Urethra Tubes. What pain. What fun. I hope I finish passing them before Monday. Thank God for Hydrocodone!!
